Week 1 - Adria's Journey Begins

Adria Montgomery is in the house! What is up, y'all??

I'm super pumped to be here in this game. I'm nervous as hell, but couldn't be more excited! Coming into the house later than most of the cast makes me a little nervous right off the bat. Has everyone else had time to already get to know each other? As soon as I realized we had all been selected and checked out who was on the memory wall, I sent out a couple of PMs to Scott and Lori, my fellow BB5ers, so I at least had a couple of people I had opened the lines of communication with.

As one of the last five people to check in, I didn't get to choose my bedroom. When Braden joined our room, he called us the Hotties and Jameka. That made me laugh a lot. We just had a short chat, good but short. He told me he had just taken my talkginity as he was the first person I've actually had a conversation with. And turns out, it was his first time too! ;D Anyway, he's a cool dude, and I'm going to keep in touch with him, possibly work together...we'll see how it goes.

I'm going to have get to talking to more people soon with HOH being posted tonight! Adria's got some work to do!

Game on!

First HOH is underway, and it's a little scary. A popularity contest to determine who's in charge. I've not had a chance to talk to a bunch of people. Here's who I have spoken with:

Braden
Evel Dick
Lori
Scott

That about sums it up. lol

Of those four, I'm really liking Braden. I would like to talk to Lori more, she seems really nice and will probably be more active than most. Scott seems really depressing...the dude's bummed because he missed his date with a hot guy, and now he thinks the guy will find someone else. Seriously, woah. THIS is the subject of our first conversation?? I feel bad for the dude, but I'm trying to cheer him up. Anyway, I might get a Chen buck out of him, we'll see.

I realize I didn't talk strategy in my first post...Well, my plan is to be lay low, be cool and be active enough to survive the first weeks. I plan to make a bunch of friends, a few alliances that will keep me safe and hopefully be able to do my dirty work. I'm not planning on getting my hands dirty until I need to.

Now watch me win this first competition! lol Wouldn't that be horrible? Not really I guess. At least I'd have plenty of options, and I don't think even think we're all checked in yet. Where are you roomie, Keith?

Oh by the way, in trying to play alias (not sure if anyone would know me or not), I answered some of my survey questions with things that are not actually my favourites at all. I've never even seen Love Actually!! ha ha. If it's for an HOH room, awesome, it'll look more girly and noone will be the wiser.

The start of beautiful alliance?



So in talking with Dick, we decide it might be smart to pool our money together and give it to someone we trust with the hoh. And then I talked to Braden, and he said that Dick was giving him his money, and I'm like "hell yeah". Then I thought maybe we could get our roommates to also give their bucks to Braden in exchange for keeping us safe this week. That could be pretty sweet.

Update:

Braden is now campaigning for people's Chenbucks. I know he's approached Scott (who seems wary) and Parker. He also posted a message in our bedroom, which I backed up to try to get the rest on board.

If he wants it, he can have it. It will keep me safe and keep me out of the spotlight. If it backfires, I can probably get out of it by telling people I fell for his bullcrap promises. But I really hope it works out.

If he wanted hoh, why didn't he say so? And why did he bring up Braden's name as the person we should give our money too? And I was the only one who gave Braden my money! Out of everyone in the game!

I was gonna come in here, talking about how I'll be keeping on eye on certain people (like Dustin), and the hoh results threw me for a loop. I was out of the loop. I was loopless.

I definitely feel like people have grouped together, some may possibly be vets of this series, and some newbies like myself could be in early danger. But as long as I'm not the target, and as long as Dick is not actually a dick, I'll be happy.

I finally got a chance to speak to Lori. She's nice. She seems worried too though.

I'm getting kind of hungry. Bring on the food competition!

Big Booty! Big Booty! Big Whoop!

So I signed up for this stupid Booty game that Dustin started because he asked me to, and I think it will at least show that I'm around, maybe form some new relationships. But I really wasn't interested in playing at all.

Food competition went very well for me. I've avoided all the faceoffs so far, and only one remains. Lori has to choose someone to compete against, and I don't think she'll pick me. But she's afraid to. Unfortunately she's got to pick someone.

I got to talk to Cassi and Jameka some, which is good. Cassi seems cool and is someone I'd hang out with in the house. I'll have to stay in touch with her.

And where the hell is hoh Dick at? lol If he doesn't show, maybe Braden will become new hoh by default. That would be sweet.

I want to believe Dick, I really do. He seems sincere, but he is Evel Dick. Also, giving Scott the Silver Veto as the person he's chatted with the most (alliance?), sounds an alarm. See, Scott told me that Dick told him he'd win hoh and put up Braden to get him evicted. So one or the other is lying?

I have to see what happens this week. Dick said he wanted to talk to Braden, and see how he handles the whole situation that Dick was "forced" into before making a decision on whether on not to nominate him. I told him I'd stand by his whatever he decides.

This could be interesting. A foursome with those boys, and hopefully a future side alliance with Cassi and Lori individually. Scott says he trusts me, so he's useful for now too. The rest can all go home. lol

I kind of expected to win that veto.

I chose the spaces that usually get landed on a lot when I play Monopoly, that was my strategy in this luck based competition. lol I also have to thank Meow Meow and Julie for landing on those spaces.

I didn't have to win the veto, I'd have been safe. But if noms changed, Dick might have been forced to put up Braden, even though he says he wouldn't. I know that I won't be using veto, but still want to make sure Dick knows my decision before I make it, just in case he does want to change things up.

Braden told me that Dick brought up the foursome idea with Dom and that he seems to like it.

I didn't use the veto. I'd rather not hold up the game. I didn't get to talk to Dick, but if he's changed his mind about this week, he can buy a veto of his own if he needs to.

Scott used his silver veto...the idiot. He saved sheryl. She's so deserving. lol These people (Dustin and friends) are playing the game too hard right out of the starting gate. And now Jameka is up in her place. Dick left a bootlist, and I will gladly vote her ass out if they want to play that way.

First he freaked a little when he learned Jameka was the replacement. lol Of course, I tell Braden everything we talk about. I would feel bad playing Scott like a fiddle, but the dude is a goof and him and his boyfriend Dustin need to get out of MY house.


UPDATE:

Welcome back Dick! He came back just in time to end the craziness, Jameka saved herself, Dick nommed Dustin. Dick told me Dustin bought the poison veto, that cancels a houseguest's vote (most likely Braden?). BUT we should have the numbers to control the vote anyway...Dick seems to have turned this whole mess on Jameka and Dustin, so Cassi, Lori, Dom, myself, Braden are on board, even Scott apparently.
