So last week I didn't exactly bring sexy back, so this week, I'll be pickin' up the slack...
Dustin went home, and I was the only vote to save him. Oops. I figured that would be a possibility, but I honestly didn't care. I don't see it coming back to bite me.
Then Lori wins HoH in a challenge that I had to do in 5 minutes from my phone. Either way, not being able to talk to people about it, I probably wouldn't have done much better had I been at my computer to begin with. Then again, for challenges like this, you know that people will cheat, which means that it's the honest people who end up being disadvantaged. Oh well.
I send Lori a quick PM stating that I am not an inactive and that I'm on vacation, just trying to make sure that, if I'm nominated, it's not for the sole purpose of seeming inactive or failing to reach out to the HoH. Luckily, it pays off, and she sends me a message that says I'm good. She then targets Keith and sheryl because they haven't talked to her. That means I need to AIM-rape her when I see her next, just to try to make sure I'm not a potential replacement nominee since, once again, I can't compete in PoV. UGH.
On a positive note, I am not on slop this week. My allies were kind enough to wait and eliminate me at the opportune time that got me nothing good nor bad from the food challenge. I guess I can be happy for that.
On the bad note, I feel like an UBER floater/INV player right now, not having won a damn thing (not even a single Chenbuck yet), but I know that it will change. My goal was to get through past my vacation and then come back and start to kick it in gear and play the game. I just hope that it's not too late.
Right now, I need to reconnect with my alliance (Dick, Adria, Braden) and make sure things are good with us still. And then continue to strengthen my social ties with others (mainly Lori) including Parker, Scott, and Cassi, as they seem to be mostly active. Keith and sheryl are useless. I hope that the next few weeks see a lot of them on the block while I take some time to formulate my game.
